Providing Equity and access through technology

Access to EdTech for all students

Our Solution

To demonstrate the practical application of these new skills and technologies, BSD Education facilitated visits for the broader faculty to observe training sessions in action. This hands-on approach allowed skeptical or hesitant educators to witness the benefits of edtech integration firsthand, fostering greater buy-in across the institution.

The Results

The implementation of drop-in labs proved to be a game-changer for student access to technology. These labs now serve 300 students per week, providing crucial opportunities for students to engage with technology, complete assignments, and develop digital skills outside of regular class hours. The success of this initiative at Good Samaritan Colleges demonstrates the power of strategic edtech integration in creating more equitable and accessible educational environments. By focusing on comprehensive training, practical demonstration, and widespread implementation, BSD Education helped the college achieve its goal of providing access to edtech for all students, ultimately enhancing the quality of education and preparing students for a technology-driven future.
